The Association of Christian Nurses and Doctors (AEMC) was established in Portugal in 1997. We are a non-profit organization (NGO) with the VISION of being a community of health professionals and students seeking to grow into the stature of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 4:13).

MISSION: To bring together, encourage, and train health professionals and students to follow the example of Jesus Christ as agents of integral health, serving with Competence, Compassion, Respect, and Integrity.

Affiliated since 2006 with the International Christian Medical & Dental Association (ICMDA), and since 2024 with the Nurses Christian Fellowship International (NCFI).
